y ways to describe Angelica Bridges. Bridges, who hails from a small town in the USA (East Lynn, Missouri, pop. 150 people) credits her most notably down-to-earth personality from being raised on a ranch in the countryside.
Angelica did her first radio commercial at the ago of 10, for “Dairy Queen.” At the age of 14, she appeared in Teen Magazine. She began her leadership and philanthropic aspirations at the age of 16, when she was crowned, "Miss Missouri Teen.
Angelica moved to Hollywood after high school and became an international model, singer and commercial actress. Not long after traveling the world as a model and starring in numerous campaigns and television commercials, Angelica was cast as “Lt. Taylor Walsh”, on the international television series, “Baywatch.” Baywatch is “The Most Viewed Television Show in the World" and aired in 142 countries , was dubbed in numerous languagesand also holds the record as such in the World Guiness Book of World Records.
Bridges now finds great pleasure in wearing many hats effortlessly as a successful actress, television host, producer, director, pastry chef, & philanthropist.
UPCOMING PROJECTS
Angelica is currently in production with her new cooking show which will start airing in January 2024. She will also be releasing her first cookbook along with her new gourmet line of preserves and bakery products around the launch of her new show.
LITERARY
Angelica just wrote a chapter for the global book, “The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign” which will be released in January 2024. The Imperfectly Perfect Campaign book is a collection of celebrities, influencers and various personalities personal stories of inspiration, challenges and insight to help and impact others around the world.
In 2019 she wrote an excerpt along with other inspirational creators for the book, “100 Habits From the Happiest Achievers on the Planet.” Angelica shared her personal inspirations on achievement and success.
TELEVISION
Bridge's humor and quick wit, and genuine interest in multiple causes, continues to keep her immersed in television, entertainment, production and public speaking and presentation. In 2016 she was on the cast of the primetime Survivor-inspired prime time reality series, "Kicking and Screaming" on FOX. Her true survival skills were put to the test while living in a jungle in Fiji with no food or shelter while competing against the other survivors in weekly physical and mental challenges.
This survival experience left a positive and powerful impression on her afterwards, especially after seeing how “adaptable” and “resilient” she could actually be while enduring the harsh elements of nature with such minimal provisions.
Aside from being a regular on the television series Baywatch; she reignited her character, “Lt. Taylor Walsh” a few years latee for the “made for tv’ movie, ”Baywatch Hawaiian Wedding”, which was filmed in Hawaii and
also aired on Fox.
Besides Brigette Neilson, Bridges has been the only other actress to play “Red Sonja” on screen, which was on the syndicated television series, “Conan the Barbarian.”
Bridges has had RECURRING roles on “The Days of our Lives,” “The Bold and The Beautiful”, “Mortal Kombat”. She has also guest-starred on over 20+ television shows; including, “N.Y.P.D Blue”, “That 70‟s Show”, “Veronica Mars", “Kitchen Confidential”, “Son of the Beach“, Quintuplets”, “VIP”, “Suddenly Susan”, “Pacific Blue”, “Cybill”, “Metropolitan Hospital", “The New Mike Hammer”, “Ask Harriett and the, “ Battle of the Bling” to name a few.
HOSTING
Top notch hosting gigs; as well as being a television news anchor and being a special guest on many different news panels have also played a significant role in her television appearances. Angelica was previously a VJ for VH-1 UK and hosted the weekly series “Spice.” She was the series regular host for TBS’s “Big PlayStation Saturday” and filled in on her dream job as the regular host for E! Channel’s “Talk Soup”. She has also been on expert panels for, " Fox News Channel’s “The Sean Hannity Show”, “Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell” & “The Red Eye” on Fox.
She enjoys hosting “live” ceremonies and has co-hosted “The Diversity Awards,” “Miss Fitness USA” for ESPN, “The World Series of Poker” & “The Elite Model Look of the Year” for E! Television. She has been a correspondent and a red-carpet interviewer for “The Young Hollywood Awards,” “The Breakthrough of the Year Awards” and “The Red Carpet” for “Showtime.” She has hosted her own segments, “Top Secret Beaches” and “Beach Week” for The Travel Channel, & specials for CMT, MTV and American VH1. She has also been featured on Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Good Day LA, KTLA and Extra!
MUSIC
Music has inspired her for most of her life and after arriving to Hollywood, she landed a contract to tour Asia, singing & performing for 20,000 + fans a night. She also signed a contract as the host & headlining singer for the “Luxor Hotel” in Las Vegas. She was also featured on a 50-foot billboard on the side of the Luxor Hotel during her residency.
MODELING & CAMPAIGNS
Angelica was with one of the top international modeling agencies in the world, “Elite” and traveled the globe modeling & shooting print and commercial campaigns. Some of her international campaigns include: Maybelline, American Express, Diet Coke, BMW, Geico, Hanes, Doritos, Nivea, Bally's Total Fitness, Lexus, Science Diet, Pontiac, Tab Energy Drink, Pepsi, Toyota, Miller Lite and Mitsubishi.
During this time Angelica made some international lists with some other notable iconic women. She was voted as one of the, “50 Most Watched Women in the World”, by Esquire Magazine, one of the “100 Most Beautiful Women in the World” by FHM Magazine and as one of the, “50 Sexiest Women in the World”, by Maxim Magazine.
Angelica graced the covers and pages of dozens of magazines around the world, and starred opposite of NFL in the “Brut Cologne” campaign alongside NFL hero, “Troy Aikman”. The commercial was directed by Zack Snyder. She was a ballroom dancing ingénue in an Emmy-nominated (Super bowl ad) for “American Express”, which was directed by David Kellog.
She was one of the first few females to ever represent the “UFC” in an ad campaign titled, “Beauty and The Beast” which came out in Maxim Magazine. She was also the face and hair of “Clairol” after landing a 3-year contract with the household brand.
She had the pleasure of co-starring with Kevin Costner in a print and television ad campaign for “Valverde,” an Italian shoe company in Europe. Another “pinch me” moment for Angelica was when she was cast opposite of one of her favorite artists, “Pharrell” as one of the leads for one of his spec music videos.
GIVING BACK
Angelica lives for philanthropy and has dedicated her life to helping animals, animal rescue as well as humanitarian causes. In 2019 Angelica traveled to Africa where she met with the (Muswati) royal family of Swaziland; which happens to be one the few last monarchies left in Africa. Angelica had an unforgettable meeting at the royal palace with Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini to discuss a collaboration in bringing new schools, hospitals & a film studio to the region. She also visited some of the local schools and got to motivationally speak in classes and spend time with the local children.
She enjoys donating her time to many other charitable & non-profit organizations besides her own foundation including, The Midnight Mission, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Susen G. Komen Foundation, The Humane Society, ASPCA, The Brent Shapiro Foundation, St. Jude’s, Locks for Love & Toys for Tots; are just a few of the causes she has been honored to support, volunteer and be a part of.
